Danilo Gallinari: Tears Meniscus, Out Indefinitely

Gallinari discovered a meniscus tear in his right knee and will be out indefinitely, although the Nuggets believe that he will return at some point this season, the Denver Post reports.

Analysis:

Gallinari has dealt with a plethora of injuries over his career and apparently the 2014-15 campaign will be yet another injury-stained season. The tear in his knee will require surgery and the Denver medical staff is putting a tentative three week timetable for his return to the court. In his absence, Alonzo Gee will likely see more time on the court moving forward.
