Pelicans' Evans set to return Saturday vs. Trail Blazers

The New Orleans Pelicans are to set to receive a boost for Saturday's game against the Portland Trail Blazers. 

Tyreke Evans, who missed a game with a right knee contusion, will return to the Pelicans' lineup, reports John Reid of the New Orleans Times-Picayune. 

Evans has been filling up the stat sheet, averaging 17 points, 5.8 assists and 5.3 rebounds through 24 games, and proving to be a strong sidekick to superstar Anthony Davis. 

The Pelicans, who are riding a two-game winning streak and currently hold the No. 8 seed in a loaded Western Conference, will be in tough against the Trail Blazers. Portland has won four consecutive contests and is holding opponents to 96.6 points per game, the third best mark in the NBA.
