Love not expected to miss time with finger sprain

David Richard-USA TODAY Sports

It appears Kevin Love and the Cleveland Cavaliers have dodged a bullet.

Love sprained a finger on his shooting hand in Friday's win over the Brooklyn Nets, but isn't expected to miss any time, according to Chris Haynes of the Cleveland Plain Dealer. The power forward had his hand wrapped at practice on Saturday, and should be a go for Sunday's home game against the Memphis Grizzlies

"It was a little sore but he's OK," Cavaliers head coach David Blatt said. "It's nothing serious."

Love's hand got caught in the jersey of Brooklyn's Mason Plumlee, but he continued to play, logging 40 minutes while shooting 1-of-10 from the field and being held to a season-low six points.
