VIDEO: Kobe misses potential game-winner, Lakers fall to Thunder

Brian Spurlock-USA TODAY Sports

The Oklahoma City Thunder were without Kevin Durant again Friday, but they had just enough to hold off the Los Angeles Lakers.

The Lakers had a chance to win the game in the dying seconds, but Kobe Bryant failed to connect on the potential game-winner with Andre Roberson doing a fine job of avoiding contact with the future Hall of Famer.

Kobe's reaction to the bricked jumper, on a night when he finished 3-of-15 from the field in a 104-103 loss, was as expected:

Bryant did add eight assists and eight rebounds to his nine points, however.

Russell Westbrook led the way for the Thunder without Durant, who sat with an ankle sprain sustained Thursday against the Golden State Warriors. Westbrook finished with 31 points, 10 assists, five rebounds and a steal, while Reggie Jackson chipped in 25 points off the Thunder bench.
