Kevin Durant: (Ankle) Out Friday

Durant (ankle) will not play Friday against the Lakers, The Oklahoman reports.

Analysis:

Durant left Thursday's game late in the first half and did not return. He also underwent a precautionary X-ray that came back negative, indicating there was no break. He will sit Friday, but seems a good candidate to return for Sunday's game against the Pelicans. Russell Westbrook and Serge Ibaka will likely take on a larger role offensively in his absence.
