The Oklahoma City Thunder will play shorthanded once more on Friday.

Kevin Durant is unable to play due to a high ankle sprain, Royce Young of ESPN reports.

Durant sustained the injury in the first half of Oklahoma City's loss to the Golden State Warriors on Thursday. Durant managed to score 30 points in just under 19 minutes before leaving the game.

He will be re-evaluated Saturday, while his status remains day-to-day, according to Anthony Slater of the Oklahoman.

Injuries have been a concern for Durant this season, as he missed nearly the entire first two months of the season due to a fracture in his right foot.

In nine games played, Durant is averaging 22.4 points, five rebounds and 3.6 assists in 28.2 minutes.
