Paul George credits Kobe Bryant for advice during recovery

It seems as if Kobe Bryant's time off with two major injuries has actually been a positive for other superstars around the league.

Bryant has become a sort of injury advice expert since returning, having been credited with helping the likes of Kevin Durant, Julius Randle and, now, Paul George with keeping their heads up through the recovery process.

George, who is likely out for the season after breaking his leg with USA Basketball this summer, said this week that Bryant has reached out and offered encouragement.

"What I took away from him reaching out is that you have to become the best teammate, be a student and observe the game," George said. "Being out, you have to take it as a positive and sit back and learn."

That's much easier said than done, but George seems to be taking an active role around the Indiana Pacers while on the shelf. It's a long road back, and it's surely nice to have the support of others who have been in the same situation.

Though, the Pacers may want to check in with the Los Angeles Lakers before trusting that Bryant's advice will make George a better teammate.
