J.R. Smith: (Heel) Ruled Out, Will Not Play Sunday
Updating a previous note: Smith will not be active Sunday against the Raptors.
Analysis:
The Knicks originally announced that Smith, who missed two games with a heel issue, would return to action and start Sunday, but after the guard tested out the heel during warmups, the medical staff opted to hold him out. Tim Hardaway, Jr. figures to slide back in as the starting shooting guard, as Iman Shumpert (shoulder) remains sidelined.
