Heat's Bosh, McRoberts will not play Sunday vs. Bulls

Soobum Im / USA Today Sports

The Miami Heat frontcourt will be severely shorthanded when they square off against the Chicago Bulls on Sunday, as both Chris Bosh and Josh McRoberts will sit out.

According to a release from the Heat's Twitter account, Bosh is dealing with a calf injury, and McRoberts is feeling the effects of a bruised knee.

Being short of the starting frontcourt is never ideal, but the Heat's worries are further exacerbated by the opposing Bulls, who boast one of the league's most fearsome frontlines. Center Joakim Noah is doubtful to play, but the Heat will still have to deal with the likes of Pau Gasol and Taj Gibson on the inside.

The Heat will likely start two of Justin Hamilton, Udonis Haslem or Shawne Williams. All three players are undersized to play center, but Hamilton and Williams can at least provide a modicum of floor spacing.
