LeBron breaches protocol by putting arm around Duchess of Cambridge

LeBron James got away with a foul. 

James breached protocol following Monday's win over the Brooklyn Nets by putting his arm around the Duchess of Cambridge when he posed for a photo with her and husband Prince William. 

"Although I am sure the Duchess of Cambridge won't have worried about it, Mr. James should not have put his arm around her," royal etiquette expert William Hanson told Daily Mail. 

"Americans are much more tactile than we Brits and this is another example of an American being too touchy feely with British royalty. You'd have think they’d have learned by now."

The allegedly poor etiquette by the Cleveland Cavaliers superstar comes a few years after questions were raised following a similar incident involving a protocol breach by a famous American. First lady Michelle Obama put her arm around the Queen during a G20 reception at Buckingham Palace in 2009.
