GIF: Rondo notches triple-double with 3-quarter-court bounce pass

Though it looked for a while like they'd succumb to their recent proclivity for vomiting up big fourth-quarter leads, the Boston Celtics managed to hang on and beat the Washington Wizards 101-93 on Sunday.

In a battle of two of the top point guards in the Eastern Conference, Rajon Rondo and John Wall gave each other as good as they got. While both struggled shooting the ball, they facilitated brilliantly for their respective teams, each finishing with double-digit assists.

Rondo's 10th of the game gave him the 21st triple-double of his career (second only to Lebron James among active players) and it was an absolute dandy.

After Brandon Bass swatted away a Nene shot at the rim, Rondo took a feed, spun to avoid Wall, and whipped a 50-foot bounce pass that hit Marcus Thornton in stride for an open layup.
