Give Round 1 of this Southwest Division rivalry to the San Antonio Spurs.

Tim Duncan had a triple-double - 14 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists - as San Antonio topped Memphis 107-101 Friday, handing the Grizzlies their first home loss since Feb. 5 of last season.

However, point guard Tony Parker left the game with a hamstring strain in the third quarter and did not return. After the game, Spurs coach Gregg Popovich said it's unlikely Parker will play Saturday against the Minnesota Timberwolves, although given Popovich's track record of resting his stars, that should come as no surprise on a back-to-back.

Evidently, Popovich was stunned to hear that Duncan finished with a triple-double.

Duncan became the second-oldest NBA player (38 years, 224 days) to post a triple-double, and it was only the fourth of his career, the last coming on Nov. 30, 2010.

Meanwhile, Marc Gasol, playing with a bone bruise suffered Wednesday against Houston, scored 28 points and pulled down 12 rebounds for Memphis, which also got 23 points and 10 dimes from Mike Conley.
