Report: Jazz's Burks considering surgery on shoulder
Russ Isabella / USA Today Sports
Utah Jazz guard Alec Burks has seen doctors in New York and Cleveland and is considering surgery on his shoulder, according to Jody Genessy of the Deseret News.
Burks, Utah's first-round pick in 2011, injured his left shoulder being fouled hard by Arron Afflalo of the Denver Nuggets on Monday. An extended absence would be a big loss for the Jazz, with the Colorado product averaging 13.3 points and three assists per game this season.
Rodney Hood continues to start in his place.
