Bulls' Gibson targeting Saturday return vs. Warriors

Kelvin Kuo-USA TODAY Sports

The Chicago Bulls may finally be at full strength, and that's a scary thought for the rest of the NBA.

Bulls forward Taj Gibson, who's missed the last six games with a sprained left ankle, took part in practice Friday and is hoping to return Saturday against the league-leading Golden State Warriors.

Gibson is averaging 12.4 points, 5.8 rebounds, 1.7 assists and 1.1 blocks in 29 minutes per game so far this season and his return will provide a major upgrade to Chicago's second unit.

Between injuries to Gibson, Derrick Rose, Joakim Noah, Pau Gasol, Jimmy Butler, Kirk Hinrich and Doug McDermott, the Bulls have rarely been able to field a fully healthy lineup.
