Gibson (ankle) has been ruled out for Wednesday's game, ESPN Chicago's Nick Friedell reports.
Analysis:
He was considered doubtful previously, so this should not come as a surprise. This will be his sixth straight absence due to the ankle injury and he should be considered questionable for Saturday's game against the Warriors. The Bulls played a double-overtime game against the Mavericks on Tuesday, and Pau Gasol played 50 minutes, so it would stand to reason that Nikola Mirotic will be a major contributor Wednesday.
