Dwyane Wade playing in 2nd consecutive game Monday

Adam Hunger-USA TODAY Sports

Dwyane Wade's issues with a troublesome hamstring appear to be behind him.

The Miami Heat star missed seven games this month due to tightness and the resultant discomfort in his left hamstring, but he looked solid in his return to action Sunday against the New York Knicks. Just ask his wife.

Despite the Heat playing in a back-to-back situation, Wade will be in the lineup once again Monday to take on the Washington Wizards. This will already mark the fourth time Wade has played on both ends of a back-to-back, so the Heat don't appear too concerned with those scenarios.

In nine games this season, Wade is averaging 20.6 points on .521/.417/.667 shooting, adding 3.7 rebounds, 6.2 assists and 1.1 steals for good measure. The Heat have been five points per-100 possessions better with him on the floor than without, owing mostly to his impact on the offensive end, where his ability to create for himself and move off the ball wreaks havoc on defenses.

In his return to action Sunday, Wade scored 27 points with five rebounds and five assists in 32 minutes. He'll have it a little tougher Monday against Washington's fifth-ranked defense.
