Milwaukee Bucks (8-7) at Minnesota Timberwolves (3-9), 8 p.m. (ET)

(SportsNetwork.com) - The Milwaukee Bucks will be on the road for Thanksgiving when they open a quick two-game trip Wednesday against the Minnesota Timberwolves at the Target Center.

The Bucks will visit the Detroit Pistons on Friday and just beat them, 98-86, Tuesday night at home thanks to Brandon Knight's 20 points and eight assists. O.J. Mayo, making his first start of the season, added 17 points for the Bucks, who ended a two-game slide and won for the sixth time in nine tries.

Jabari Parker and Ersan Ilyasova tallied 14 and 13 points, respectively, with each pulling down nine rebounds. The Bucks had a 50-36 advantage on the glass and recorded 19 offensive rebounds.

"For us as a young group, those are positive things for us to look at and learn from," Bucks coach Jason Kidd said. "They're showing us coaches they can do it."

Minnesota is 29th in opponents' scoring at 110.3 ppg and will close out a four-game homestand Wednesday. After opening the stay with a win over New York, the Timberwolves have dropped back-to-back games to San Antonio and Sacramento.

In Saturday's 113-101 loss to the Kings, DeMarcus Cousins powered the visiting team to victory with 31 points and 18 rebounds. The Kings used a 17-6 run in the third quarter to pull away. Wolves rookie Andrew Wiggins scored a career- high 29 points to lead six players in double figures.

Corey Brewer had 14 points, Gorgui Dieng added 12 and 10 rebounds, and Mo Williams finished with 11 points and 12 assists. Chase Budinger (11) and Anthony Bennett (10) rounded off the double-figure scorers.

"No excuses for losing," said Wiggins. "We're a young team, but that's no excuse. Once you're in the NBA, no one cares about your age or how tall you are or how athletic you are. You just have to bring it every night."

Minnesota, which has a 3-9 record, is 0-9 when allowing 100 or more points this season and will start a three-game western trek Friday against the Lakers, Portland and Clippers.

The banged-up Wolves are playing without guard Kevin Martin (wrist), Ricky Rubio (ankle) and center Nikola Pekovic (wrist). Williams is questionable versus the Bucks with an illness.

The T-Wolves beat Milwaukee twice last season and have won four in a row in this series. The Bucks have struggled recently at Target Center, losing three straight and 12 of 14 games there.
