Utah Jazz (5-10) at Oklahoma City Thunder (3-12), 8 p.m. (ET)
(SportsNetwork.com) - The Oklahoma City Thunder look to put the brakes on a six-game losing streak when they entertain the Utah Jazz Wednesday night.
The Thunder have lost the first two games of a four-game homestand to Brooklyn and Golden State, and sustained a 91-86 setback Sunday versus the Warriors.
Reggie Jackson led the hosts with a near triple-double of 22 points, 11 rebounds and eight assists, while Anthony Morrow chipped in 16 points and 12 boards. Serge Ibaka posted 16 points and eight boards for Oklahoma City, which is only 3-12 on the season and 2-5 at home.
"I thought we did a great job of competing and playing a style that gave us a chance to win," OKC coach Scott Brooks said. "Unfortunately we came up short."
Oklahoma City, which shot only 35.6 percent and made only 3-of-17 3-pointers, is winless in the last four home games and will wrap up the homestand Friday versus New York.
The Thunder haven't won since Nov. 12 at Boston and are still without superstars Kevin Durant (foot) and Russell Westbrook (hand).
Utah has lost three in a row and fell to 5-10 on the season with Monday's 97-95 loss to the Chicago Bulls. The Bulls welcomed back Derrick Rose and Pau Gasol to send the Jazz to a 5-10 start.
The Jazz trailed by as many as 21 points before making a strong comeback, and were led by Derrick Favors, who had 21 points and a season-high 15 rebounds. Enes Kanter and Trey Burke scored 19 and 18 points, respectively, with Burke dishing out 10 assists.
Gordon Hayward missed a 3-pointer from the top of the key at the buzzer and finished with only six points on 2-of-11 shooting. Hayward leads the Jazz with 18.2 points and is still posting 19.2 ppg this month.
"It was a great look. It's a shot I'm capable of hitting. We just dug ourselves a hole," Hayward said.
Utah is 2-6 on the road this season and defeated the Thunder, 98-81, in Salt Lake City on Nov. 18, as Alec Burks posted 20 points and 14 rebounds. Kanter had 16 and 15 boards for the Jazz, who are only 6-14 in the past 20 matchups with their Northwest rivals.
The Jazz have lost six in row and nine of the last 11 games at Chesapeake Energy Arena.
