NBA Game Summary - New York at Houston

Houston, TX (SportsNetwork.com) - James Harden scored Houston's final 12 points of the game, leading the Rockets to a 91-86 victory over the New York Knicks.

Harden went 7-of-12 from beyond the arc and ended with 36 points, six rebounds, six assists and three steals for the Rockets, who have won 10 straight against the Knicks.

"I just know I had to be aggressive," Harden said. "I knocked down shots and tried to make plays."

Donatas Motiejunas added 13 points and eight boards for Houston, which has won two in a row overall. Trevor Ariza tallied 10 points and three steals.

New York forward Carmelo Anthony had 14 points and seven rebounds before leaving in the second quarter with back spasms. He did not return to the game.

"We just didn't have enough down the stretch," Knicks forward Amar'e Stoudemire said.

The Knicks started the fourth quarter on a 9-3 spurt to take a 78-72 lead with 8:51 to play.

But the Rockets responded with a 19-4 run to claim victory. Ariza made a 3- pointer and Motiejunas added two layups before Harden caught fire. Harden capped the burst with a 6-of-6 performance from the foul line, making it 91-82 with 41.9 seconds to go.

Houston led by as many as 12 in the first half and held a 51-46 lead at the half.

New York scored the first six points of the third quarter, which featured nine lead changes and five ties. It was 69-69 heading to the fourth.
