Derrick Rose: (Hamstring) May Play Monday
Rose (hamstring) may take the court Monday in Utah, ESPN Chicago reports.
Analysis:
Coach Tom Thibodeau expressed confidence in Rose's ability to play prior to pregame warmups, from which the point guard must emerge unscathed. With Kirk Hinrich out due to bruised ribs, Rose would take on the bulk of ball-handling duties and thus be afforded significant minutes. However, a decision on Rose may not emerge until close to the 9 PM ET tip, so keep Aaron Brooks in reserve in case Rose doesn't get the nod.
