Kevin Durant: (Foot) Practices, Takes Contact

Durant (foot) participated in most of Monday's practice, including some of the contact drills, the Oklahoman's Anthony Slater reports.

Analysis:

This marked the first time he had taken part in the contact portion of practice, and it is a very good sign. However, the general consensus is that Durant is further away from returning to game action than Russell Westbrook, who also took part in contact portions for the first time Monday. The team will reevaluate Durant on Thanksgiving, and a clearer timetable for his return should be available at that time.
