Analysis:

Howard is looking more and more unlikely to play in Saturday's game against the Mavericks. Considering he wasn't able to practice Friday, he'll be highly questionable for Saturday. His next chance to return will be Monday against the Knicks if he doesn't play Saturday. He did go through platelet rich protein therapy though, to aid in the healing process, so it's clear he's doing everything he can to get back on the court as soon as possible. Tarik Black will most likely continue to start in his place and play an extended amount of time.
