VIDEO: Harden, Duncan get self-deprecating in Foot Locker spots

Soobum Im-USA TODAY Sports

Foot Locker's lead as the company producing the best NBA-themed commercials this season continues to grow.

Next week is once again Foot Locker's Week of Greatness, a highly anticipated period of fresh gear releases. As part of the promotion, Foot Locker released new spots starring Houston Rockets superstar James Harden and San Antonio Spurs deadpan specialist Tim Duncan.

In the first, Harden makes fun of his reputation for being a poor defender, and gets defensive about being defensive:

In the second spot, Derrick Rose calls Duncan out of excitement for the promotion, and Duncan plays up his monotonous, robotic personality:

There are also short spots involving pro wrestler John Cena poking fun at the reality of wrestling and boxer Manny Pacquiao getting excited about a potential Floyd Mayweather fight.
