VIDEO: The excellent Spurs commercials are back

Bob Donnan / USA Today Sports

Poor Patty Mills.

Looking to get in on the fun that was the San Antonio Spurs' H-E-B commercials a season ago, Mills had to play to his Australian accent to get a role. It confused Kawhi Leonard, but hey, Mills got in on the action, and the lovable spots are back for another year.

Here's Mills, Leonard, Tim Duncan, Manu Ginobili and Tony Parker endorsing all sorts of different burgers:

It wasn't just Mills' Australian accent that the commercials played up with the Spurs, who are heavy on international players. Despite not having any Greek players, the defending champs are out here selling Greek yogurt, though Duncan is unimpressed:

There's also this spot, which includes Ginobili in a very fake beard and, once again, a very confused Leonard:

Like last year, Leonard's deadpan steals these spots. It's just a minor surprise that H-E-B doesn't have Leonard doing genuine commercials about his favorite foods, like water, lettuce and white bread.
