NBA Game Summary - Chicago at LA Clippers

Los Angeles, CA (SportsNetwork.com) - Jimmy Butler had 22 points, eight assists and two steals in the Chicago Bulls' 105-89 victory over the Los Angeles Clippers.

Taj Gibson added 20 points, six assists and two blocks for the Bulls, who are off to a 6-0 start on the road for the first time since the 1996-97 season, when they went 30-11 outside the Windy City.

"This is a big win to start a long road trip," said Butler.

Mike Dunleavy tallied 19 points and seven rebounds for Chicago, which was without Derrick Rose for a second straight game due to a hamstring injury. Kirk Hinrich donated 14 points.

Jamal Crawford had 24 points for the Clippers, who had won four straight against the Bulls. Blake Griffin tallied 19 points and 10 boards.

The Bulls scored the final six points of the second quarter to get within 50-48 at the half.

With the score tied 58-58, Chicago went on an 11-2 run to gain control. Butler capped the surge with two free throws to make it 69-60 with 4;26 left in the third stanza.

After the Clippers pulled within five, the Bulls went on a 10-0 run to end the quarter. Dunleavy made a 3-pointer during the spurt that Aaron Brooks capped with a free throw for a 79-64 margin.

Los Angeles never got closer than seven in the fourth.

"We got them down by 14 in the second quarter and they just kept coming," said Griffin.
