Portland Trail Blazers power forward LaMarcus Aldridge will play in Monday contest between the Trail Blazers and New Orleans Pelicans, reports Joe Freeman of the Oregonian.

Aldridge's return from a nasty flu means fans will be treated to a clash of the best power forwards in the game in Aldridge and Anthony Davis.

This season, Aldridge is averaging 21.9 points and 7.9 rebounds per game while connecting on 45.8 percent of his field-goal attempts.
