VIDEO: Blazers narrowly escape as Hornets' Neal can't beat buzzer

The Portland Trail Blazers were saved by the bell Tuesday.
After rallying from a 23-point deficit against the Charlotte Hornets and taking the lead in the final minutes, the Blazers almost blew it.
Damian Lillard attempted an ill-advised shot in the final seconds despite the fact Portland was up two and could have held onto the ball until he was fouled, resulting in Charlotte getting a last chance at a tie or a win.
Cue Gary Neal, who held onto the ball about a millisecond too long.
And they say football is a game of inches.
The Blazers improved to 5-3 with the win, while the Hornets fell to 3-5.
