Raptors' Johnson will suit up against 76ers

John E. Sokolowski-USA TODAY Sports

An ankle injury won't stop Amir Johnson from playing Sunday's game versus the Philadelphia 76ers.

Johnson, who missed three contests and left another one early after tweaking his left ankle, is good to go against the winless 76ers.

After logging 21 minutes, Johnson was forced to leave Friday's win over the Washington Wizards and didn't return. Johnson will now get a chance to beat up on an 0-6 Philadelphia team and help keep Toronto atop the Eastern Conference standings.

The 5-1 Raptors, who are in the midst of a seven-game homestand, are off to their best start in franchise history.

Johnson is averaging 12.0 points, 7.3 rebounds and 2.0 blocks per game over 25.7 minutes.
