Valanciunas (hand) has been downgraded to doubtful for Wednesday's game against the Celtics.

Analysis:

Valanciunas' current situation is a messy one, since the big man suffered both hand and face injuries Tuesday against the Thunder. Following X-rays thankfully returning negative on both ailments, Valanciunas was initially thought to be probable to play Wednesday. However, the Lithuanian's status has now taken a hit in light of the Raptors' Media Relations Department deeming Valanciunas doubtful for Wednesday's divisional contest, citing his right hand contusion as the primary problem. If Valanciunas is sidelined against the Celtics, backup Greg Stiemsma could garner extended minutes behind Chuck Hayes at center, since Amir Johnson (ankle) has already been ruled out.
