It's been predicted that NBA fans may learn Rudy Gobert's name this year, but most of those predictions had to do with Gobert proving himself a worthy and exciting basketball player.
On Monday, he got himself on the highlight reels for all the wrong reasons. Visiting the Los Angeles Clippers, the Utah Jazz center was on the receiving end of a nasty dunk, courtesy the Lob City connection of Chris Paul to DeAndre Jordan.
It was unkind.
Gobert got the smallest sliver of revenge a minute later, rejecting a Blake Griffin hook shot that exactly zero people will remember because of Jordan's dunk.
