Brook Lopez: (Foot) Won't Be Restricted Upon Return

Lopez (foot) will not face a minutes restriction when he ultimately makes his season debut, Newsday reports.

Analysis:

Coach Lionel Hollins has stated multiple times that he intends to cut Lopez loose whenever the doctors allow him to take the court for the first time this season. This is somewhat concerning when considering the center's injury riddled past, but he was able to average 23 minutes per game during three preseason contests and will apparently play something similar to that number when he makes his expected return this Saturday or Monday.
