With the Dallas Mavericks bringing back center Tyson Chandler and point guard J.J. Barea, the 2014 Mavericks are starting to look a whole lot like their championship-winning 2011 iteration.
All the talk of the good old days had Nowitzki reminiscing to reporters after Dallas's Thursday night victory over the Utah Jazz.

Both Peja Stojakovic and Brian Cardinal emerged as unlikely heroes for the Mavericks in their run to the championship in 2011. Cardinal gave the Mavericks an unexpected boost of grit off the bench, and Stojakovic chipped in with timely 3-point shooting.
