Quincy Acy is the favorite to start at power forward this season, the New York Post reports. He returned from a wrist injury in the final preseason game for the Knicks and seems ready to go Wednesday.

Acy (wrist) is projected to come off the bench to start the season.

Analysis:

Jason Smith staked a claim to the starting power forward job near the end of the preseason and is the favorite to start at power forward Wednesday. With that said, if Smith falls prey to injury, as he has done often throughout his career, Acy could step into a bigger role at some point this season.
