Kawhi Leonard: (Eye) Could Play Friday

Coach Gregg Popovich said after Tuesday's game that Leonard was cleared to play, but the team opted to give him some extra time as a precaution, Dan McCarney of the San Antonio Express-News reports. "I'm guessing he's probable for Friday (at Phoenix)," Popovich said.

Analysis:

This comes on the heels of Leonard speculating that he would not return until Nov. 5, so it's hard to get a firm read on when he'll make his season debut. Consider him day-to-day with a chance of returning Friday, and almost certainly by Wednesday of next week.
