Splitter isn't the only Spurs' starter who will miss Tuesday's season opener, as Kawhi Leonard (eye) is also out, but Leonard is definitely closer to returning to action. There's no official timetable for Splitter's return, but he could miss a week or more. Matt Bonner will start at center Tuesday, but Boris Diaw is also likely to figure prominently in the frontcourt.
