Bargnani (hamstring) has been ruled out for the first three games of the regular season, Newsday's Anthony Rieber reports.

Analysis:

Bargnani has struggled with a hamstring injury for the past two weeks. The injury initially appeared to be a minor problem, however he will now miss at least three weeks total to recover from this injury. Hamstring injuries can nag at a player throughout an NBA season, so it's possible the Knicks want to get Bargnani completely healthy before they play him.
