Rudy Gay: (Jaw) X-Rays Negative
Gay underwent X-rays on his jaw Saturday, which were returned negative, NBA.com reports.
Analysis:
Gay was knocked out late in the first half of Friday's preseason game against the Lakers after being caught with an elbow from rookie Julius Randle. Fortunately, he was cleared of any fracture to the jaw, and the expectation is that he should be fine to play in Wednesday's opener against Golden State.
