Presented by DraftKings: NBA is back: $400,000 fantasy contest

Wednesday has become a big night for the NBA and with 12 games on, what better way to spend it then a chance to win $100,000. DraftKings is hosting a one-day fantasy contest with $400,000 in guaranteed prizes

Here’s how it works:

Select 8 NBA Players from Wednesday’s games: PG, SG, SF, PF, C, G, F, and UTIL.

You must stay under the $50,000 salary cap

Scoring

  • Point = +1 Pt
  • Made 3 pt shot = +0.5 Pts
  • Rebound = +1.25 Pts
  • Assist = 1.5 Pts
  • Steal = +2 Pts
  • Block = +2 Pts
  • Turnover = -0.5 Pts
  • Double-Double = 1.5 Bonus Pts
  • Triple-Double = 3 Bonus Pts

If your team accumulates the most fantasy points on Wednesday, you’ll win $100,000. The contest is $27 to enter and the top 3,475 finishers will each win a share of $400,000.

Here’s a quick refresh of what you need to know going into Wednesday night:

With Kevin Durant watching from the sidelines, the entire Oklahoma City offense will need to shift gears. Russell Westbrook’s DraftKings salary ($10,400) appears to reflect his new role, but even as the most expensive player, he could be worth the price. A better option might be Jeremy Lamb ($3,600).

Similarly, Paul George will be out for an extended period of time for the Pacers and with Lance Stephenson now with Charlotte, someone on Indy is going to need to score. They face the 76ers and the league-worst defense from last season. Some options include Roy Hibbert ($6,900) and Luis Scola ($4,500).

Kobe Bryant was upset about ESPN ranking him the 40th best player in the NBA this year, but how about his DraftKings salary? He is the 20th most expensive player, but Wednesday’s slate does not include the Spurs, Cavs, or Clippers.

Make sure to sign up for DraftKings for your chance to turn a $27 entry into $100,000 in a few hours of NBA action.
