Report: Nets looking to trade late 2nd round pick, Teague to Sixers

Shedding a contract isn't cheap, and the price for moving Brooklyn Nets point guard Marquis Teague's deal is apparently a late second-round pick, as reported by Stefan Bondy of the New York Daily News.

The Nets are reportedly looking to move Teague to the Philadelphia 76ers in hopes of creating a roster spot to accommodate point guard Jorge Gutierrez.

Teague was drafted 29th overall by the Chicago Bulls in 2012. After failing to crack the Bulls' rotation, Teague was shipped to Brooklyn, where he again failed to crack the rotation. He has averaged 2.3 points and 1.4 assists per game through the first two years of his career.
