Jordan Clarkson, the Lakers' second-round draft choice in the 2014 NBA Draft, will see more court time with Steve Nash being ruled out for the season with persistent nerve issues in his leg.

Clarkson, the Lakers' second-round draft choice in the 2014 NBA Draft, will see more court time with Steve Nash being ruled out for the season with persistent nerve issues in his leg.

Analysis:

While Jeremy Lin will assume the starting role, Clarkson will battle veteran Ronnie Price for the role as the primary backup. Previously this offseason, reports came out that someone in the Lakes' organisation said Clarkson could be the starter by the end of this season, so thinking that he becomes the number two man now is not far-fetched. He could be one Lin injury away from starting and being a must-own fantasy player. At this stage, Clarkson should be left unrostered in standard leagues, but is a great target in deeper leagues and dynasty formats.
