Lance Stephenson: (Groin) Late Scratch Monday

Stephenson was held out of Monday's preseason tilt in Atlanta due to a sore groin, the Charlotte Observer reports.

Analysis:

Monday's outing is the Hornets' seventh this exhibition season, but Stephenson has only logged time in four due to an assortment of ailments. Overall, he's averaging 10.8 points (on 42.5 percent shooting), 3.3 rebounds, and 2.8 assists in 30 minutes. Once the regular season commences, his full arsenal will be on full display, if he's unhindered by injury, of course.
