Rajon Rondo: (Hand) Could Be Ready For Start Of Season

Rondo (hand) could be ready for the season opener on Oct. 29, CSN Northeast's A. Sherrod Blakely reports.

Analysis:

He will sit out the Celtics' final preseason game Wednesday, but the broken bone in his hand is healing properly, and if he gets cleared to take part in the contact portion of practices later in the week, there's a chance the Celtics could have him for the start of the regular season. He could use a protective glove for his hand, but it would have to be approved by the league. At this point, Rondo shouldn't be downgraded much in fantasy drafts.
