David West: Suffers Ankle Injury

West left Saturday's preseason game against Dallas in the third quarter with an apparent right ankle injury, the Indianapolis Star's Michael Pointer reports.

Analysis:

West tried to put weight on his ankle as he was helped off the court, but he was in obvious pain as he left for the locker room. It certainly didn't look good, but we will await further information from the Pacers about the actual severity of the injury. A significant injury to West would be another crippling blow to a team that already will be without Paul George (leg) this season.
