VIDEO: Deron Williams turns Ramon Sessions around with double crossover

Jaime Valdez / USA Today Sports

Deron Williams knows ankle injuries better than almost anyone. What the Brooklyn Nets point guard tried to do to Ramon Sessions on Wednesday, then, can be considered quite unkind.

With the aid of a Brook Lopez screen, Williams took aim at breaking Sessions's ankles with a double crossover move:

It's not often the player getting crossed over comes out of a highlight looking good, but the Sacramento King does a pretty solid job of staying in front of Williams and defending his drive, considering.

Sessions drew the start in place of Darren Collison as the two jockey for the starting point guard gig, a battle he's losing so far on the offensive end.

Through 4 Games MIN PTS FG% AST
Sessions 108 47 45.2% 15
Collison 96 56 55.6% 21

Williams, meanwhile, continued a run of relatively strong exhibition play, scoring 13 points with eight assists in 26 minutes of action. He's now shooting 51.5 percent for the preseason and averaging 14 points with seven assists in just 27.3 minutes, a positive early sign for the Nets.
