Miami, FL (SportsNetwork.com) - Paul Millsap scored 23 points and helped the Atlanta Hawks to a dominant third quarter that carried them to a 109-103 preseason victory over the Miami Heat.

Atlanta trailed 52-45 at the half before outscoring the Heat by a whopping 43-18 margin in the third quarter. The period included a 28-4 run that turned a five-point deficit into a commanding 85-66 lead with under two minutes to go in the frame.

Kyle Korver drained a trio of 3-pointers during the third-quarter surge and finished the game with 17 points. Millsap, DeMarre Carroll and Pero Antic each contributed seven points during the stanza.

Chris Bosh racked up 22 points and nine rebounds in the loss, the fourth straight for Miami to begin the preseason. Dwyane Wade tallied 16 points but shot just 4-of-12 from the field.
