Bradley Beal: (Wrist) Could Miss 6-8 Weeks

Beal could miss 6-to-8 weeks after breaking his left wrist in Friday's preseason loss to the Hornets, the Washington Post reports.

Analysis:

The Wizards initially labeled the injury a sprain after Beal left Friday's game in the first quarter, but an MRI on Saturday revealed the fracture. It's a devastating development for both Beal, who seemed primed for a breakout in his third NBA season, and of course the Wizards, who will have to get by with the likes of Garrett Temple and Glen Rice Jr. at shooting guard for the time being with Martell Webster (back) also out. Xavier Silas may be an option as well.
