Middleton missed a bit of practice time last week following a cyst removal procedure, but will still start Wednesday's first exhibition contest. Although he started 64 of 82 games last season, Middleton's role this season is yet to be cemented, as new coach Jason Kidd is expected to experiment with different lineups throughout the preseason. Nonetheless, Middleton will begin Wednesday's game with the Bucks' first-team unit.
