Analysis:

Nene is healthy and fine. The Wizards are simply playing it safe with their habitually injured big man. Kris Humphries was given the start at power forward in Nene's absence. Unless a report comes out that specifies that Nene has an injury, prospective fantasy owners shouldn't worry too much at this point. With it being early in the preseason, the Wizards likely just want to avoid putting any extra wear on his tires, and Nene's absence gives them a chance to get a better look at their offseason acquisitions.
