Aldridge will attempt more three-pointers during the upcoming campaign, The Columbian reports.
Analysis:
Aldridge mustered just 10 attempts across 53 games prior to the All-Star break, but after the midseason exhibition, he knocked down 3-of-8 in 27 outings, including the playoffs. Although he's never displayed much prowess from beyond the arc, boasting a career mark of 20.7 percent, he worked on the shot during the summer, which has followed him into training camp. If he can approach one three-pointer per game and fire at a more precise clip, the additional treys would only boost his already stellar value firmly into first round of drafts.
