Horford (chest) has been cleared for two-on-two contact, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.

Analysis:

Horford has been brought along slowly during camp, as he continues to work back from his second torn pectoral muscle. Over the past three days, he's been limited during contact activities, but he'll now be able to work in more physical, two-on-two settings. At this point, it's unclear when, exactly, he'll return to the court, but he said Monday that he plans to play in several preseason contests. "I feel good," Horford said. "I'll see how I feel tomorrow and maybe start doing more in practice, more than I have been doing." The Hawks open preseason play Monday night against the Pelicans.
